How the notifications work
Alerts go to the staff who asked for them.
When a prospective resident or family member reaches a facility through AdmitFirst, we capture the inquiry and notify the facility admissions staff by email — and, for staff who opt in, by SMS text alert. These are operational alerts about a real inbound contact, never marketing.
- Recipients are facility employees the facility configures, never purchased or scraped lists.
- One email per qualified inquiry or resident concern, with a summary and transcript.
- Staff can also opt in to SMS text alerts in the AdmitFirst portal by entering their own mobile number and agreeing to receive them; the consent box is unchecked by default.
- SMS alerts carry no marketing and no patient information. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
- We honor unsubscribe and STOP requests, and never sell or share mobile numbers.
- No newsletters, promotions, or bulk sends. Transactional messages only.
Full details of our SMS program, including consent and opt-out, are in our Privacy Policy.

Questions
Answers for admissions teams.
Does AdmitFirst replace our admissions staff?+

How does a caller reach the AI?+
Each facility gets its own phone number and an embeddable website chat widget. Calls and chats route to that facility voice or chat agent, which is branded and aware of the facility knowledge base.
